Hello everybody
I'm new around here, so apologies if this has been asked before...
Does anyone on here have any idea when the next Sisterhood record will be out?

I'd say...erm, never. Or, in an alternate universe, day after tomorrow...

The one wherein The Sisterhood torpedoed the enemy ship as required and was subsequently put in drydock for the duration.mickydazzler wrote:Thanks! I'm not sure I like the sound of this. Next thing you'll be telling me the Southern Death Cult went on to become unsufferable bores and That Guitarist is still playing7anthea7 wrote: The one wherein The Sisterhood torpedoed the enemy ship as required and was subsequently put in drydock for the duration.

Unfortunately, although the ship was duly sent to the bottom, all hands did not perish...mickydazzler wrote:I'm not sure I like the sound of this. Next thing you'll be telling me the Southern Death Cult went on to become unsufferable bores and That Guitarist is still playing

On the nautical theme, have you noticed that Girls Aloud's new song "untouchable" is almost exactly Marian?7anthea7 wrote: Unfortunately, although the ship was duly sent to the bottom, all hands did not perish...

I don't have the technology or the musicology, nevertheless... the verse and chorus are switched but listen to this:
(line up around)
And in my dreams it feels like we are forty storeys tall
(compared to)
In the wake of this ship of fools I'm falling further down

You misunderstand me, I perceive - I'd sooner eat broken glass than pollute my ears with that...stuff (there I go being all diplomatic again... ).mickydazzler wrote:I don't have the technology or the musicology, nevertheless... the verse and chorus are switched but listen to this...
Nonetheless, I am amused.

distinctive in that it's drum and bass without the drums- and it's better that way... drums are an ancient and reputable weapon of awe with a name you can hang your liver on: the only name sullied through the ssv operation was the already filthy-as-a-loaf-of-arse-cake monicker of east-west.mickydazzler wrote:I hear it's drum"'"bassMethedrome wrote:Nevermind the Sisterhood, I hear the next SSV album is stonking.
the sisterhood's next lp will be whammed into existence when ben and robo-breezers go all flower-powered headfirst into their own rectums and start pretending that eldritch is some sort has-been who they can bend over and shaft like a bitch whilst insisting on living off of his fans and his bands name.
ie never.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

oh yes, a striking similarity indeed!mickydazzler wrote:If you insist.7anthea7 wrote:Don't go there...or do.mickydazzler wrote:On the nautical theme, have you noticed that Girls Aloud's new song "untouchable" is almost exactly Marian?

i will be very disappointed if the sissies fail to capitalise further on this resemblance and release their very own range of false eyelashes.

That song sounds nothing like Marian
I doubt Eldritch will ever give us anything as good as Giving Ground again but then you probably only get to write a song that good once a lifetime

Now, now - I do believe there was a bit of mockery intended there - and not of The Girls (as distinct from that crew of bints...)silentNate wrote:That song sounds nothing like Marian

must be hard always having to live up to your more successful relative bobby's reputation: perhaps you should consider changing your name to something a little less ambitious such as mickeyhumdrum, or mickeyvaguelydull. just a thought.

After having listened to the audio of, for example, the Zagreb gig I can easily understand
Andrew's demand for a professional - and undisturbed - recording environment.
And for as much time as is needed to get some useful results,
hopefully far away from any Polka-reels ...
Heaven knows, how much this would cost ... and money might not be the main question in some respects ...
However, still - the tour is going on.

I think we've been in here too long. I feel unusual. I think we should go outside.

you're funny, I think Brother Lee will 'keep' you
