Throbbing Gristle’s first ever performance in Scotland!
The evening will consist of two sets by TG - a live film soundtrack to a short film by Cerith Wynn Evans, and a full TG live set of material from across the groups career.
This second set is based on TG’s recent USA tour set which received ecstatic responses, to sold out audiences across America.
Cerith Wynn Evans will perform a short DJ set mid evening.
The event is presented in kind collaboration with local heroes and longtime TG supporters, Optimo.
DJ sets by JD Twitch & JG Wilkes.
I just gotta go and shout ARTWANK! the whole way through.
Consider it my performance piece.

WHY AM I NOT IN GLASGOW FOR THIS!?
Ahem. I get kicked out of student halls on 10th June. So I need to find various places to stay for a week.
If I can make it, though, I will. I'd be stupid to miss it.

Cross-posted from elsewhere:
Oh dear god, this was amazing. I spent the entire set 2 metres away from Cosey Fanny Tutti, who gave me a smile, and I even managed to blow a kiss at Genesis P-Orridge. The band were in fine form, and it was everything I'd hoped it would be.
Setlist:
1) Persuasion
2) Live Ray (I think.. it was an instrumental I didn't recognise, and I've seen this song name on other setlists)
3) Hamburger Lady
4) Almost A Kiss
5) If You're Going To San Fransisco (Genesis jokingly sang an impromptu verse of this!)
6) Springbankistan
7) What A Day
8 ) Discipline
A short set, only 7 songs, and we were hoping for an encore, but as far as I can tell, that didn't happen.
Amazing. Inspiring. Disturbing.
