Some people need to stop eating cheese last thing at night...Herbstwacher wrote:A light and Andrew Eldritch
I was awoken by an amusing dream. I am in Andrew Eldritch's room, somewhere in Leeds, England, listening to stories from German literature. I am surprised to see that the whole time he wears his knackered 80s-era sunglasses, and as the conversation and the philosophy starts to annoy me I find myself suddenly awake.
I see again a light from the river, more clearly and, unlike on other occassions, it does not immediately disappear. It must be a large headlight, maybe a searchlight? But why haven't I seen it for the last few days? In my darkened room I search for the binoculars that I set aside, but by the time I was able to find them the light had gone out again. I curse, trying to find something recognisable in the night, some movement perhaps, but apart from a few roaming, emaciated curs down on the road I can see nothing. It is too dangerous to go out at night, but I will look again tomorrow at first light.
Now I want to hear a Sisters song. Black planet would be a good choice. Stupidly I was never interested in technology before, otherwise I would be able to get a generator running now [doesn't make any sense to me either.] Tomorrow I will go to the library to see if I can find some books for do-it-yourself enthusiasts.

Sure it does: 'Beobachtungen vom Ende der Welt'? It's post-apocalyptic, right?EvilBastard wrote:Herbstwacher wrote:...Stupidly I was never interested in technology before, otherwise I would be able to get a generator running now [doesn't make any sense to me either.] Tomorrow I will go to the library to see if I can find some books for do-it-yourself enthusiasts.
