Then let me recommend for your further listening pleasure:
First Chapter, Carved in Sand, and AuRa.
They are wonderful!!! Skip all the rest, they aren't worth your time. And to be honest Wayne's put some s**t out that's rather embarrasing (Grains of Sand for one! Crap!)
And don't worry Rian, I love The Mish too! I'm sorry Craig doesn't play bass with them anymore, but if you get AuRa he's there in fine form! Damn good bass on that one!

LOL then you have the very best. Try to get the vid, From Dusk Til Dawn..Ignore the hideous way Wayne looks..the songs are great.rian wrote: I have thoose too!
And, I think Wayne has great voice, unless of course he's warbling back up vocals on FALAA...
Jeeez now I 'm really out of the closet...I've been a huge Mish fan since 1987..so yes I really am

Grains of Sand rates up there with Resurrection. Wayne really ought to be ashamed of himself for that one!!! God damn s**t if you ask me!
And yes I have them both, plus that pitiful remix of AuRa....god, I hate piano music!

"The Grip of Disease" is an excellent song, as is the fabulous version of "Kingdom Come", which easily surpasses the original. "Mr Pleasant" is a really nice cover version, and "Mercenary" and "Bird of Passage" are two of the best songs ever recorded by The Mish. Never mind the fillers.Black Planet wrote:mugabe wrote:I beg to differ.Black Planet wrote:(Grains of Sand for one! Crap!)

Anyone know how much the flexi disc with their cover of that Osmonds song Wild Horses (I think!) is worth? I've got it kicking around the place somewhere.
Still haven't brought myself to listen to the Carved In Sand album yet. Bought it about 2 years ago at a boot sale! I have the first EP with Serpents Kiss on though, that is pretty good.

Carved in Sand
Best Tracks:
Into the Blue
Butterfly on a Wheel
Deliverance (He was reading Mists of Avalon when he wrote this, and says he can't be believe he wrote it..but when you hear it played it's great!)
Try Sum and Substance too.
