How sad
I had a face on the mirror
I had a hand on the gun
I had a place in the sun and a ticket to Syria

SWells... How very f**king sad. When he did the record reviews I'd almost p*ss myself laughing even when I disagreed with his opinion. We will not see the likes of him again sadly

Having grown up in Southern California, Sky Saxon was an icon of my youth (I didn't have to discover The Seeds via Nuggets...). I can still hear 'Pushin' Too Hard' on the Internal Jukebox with no effort atall.
He had at least had a fairly long - and very adventurous - life. It's the young ones that get to me.

Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. Friends of my mum's did, knowing she was dying of heart disease. Very tragic-romantic.James Blast wrote:her and Ryan O'Neill just got wed last week?Debaser wrote:And Farrah Fawcett Majors too....

Add Michael Jackson to the list.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.
