yep, i wanted to wrote something similar to this written by IZ.
first, none proved that he really molested a child ( had sex or other sex act).
second, we all knows that if we have a jurymen it's easier to make the think that molesting was a fact than prove something else (especially in this situation when it was a case against "this freak" Jackson).
third, "grab the money and run" run was a very popular way to make a money from accusing of molestation in the middle 90.'s and later - so aging case against someone popular who had a "freak" opinion was tough for advocates/lawyers.
4th, it was better for his picture to pay and not making from this another part of "Jackson's reality show".

it's a pity that he will not have a chance to prove that his is (or not, anymore) a musical genius who could change a music due to this series of gig in London and upcoming album.

I remember times that a friend of mine slept over and a heavy storm started, so we all climbed into my parents' bed. Are they paedophiles too then?

Nuances are important. If my child was molested by someone else, I would not grab the money and run. I'd not rest until the molester was behind bars or possibly dead.

Michael was just a bit odd in the head and tried to live the childhood he never had while he was a grown-up man.

I'm not a fan by any means, so I have no investment in his image being protected - and I agree entirely. That's not to say it wasn't sometimes skin-crawlingly creepy, but nonetheless...

Chances are your parents didn't have life-size child models and "barely legal" porn in their house. There's an old proverb about quacking like a duck. To say his behaviour was suspicious is putting it mildly. And I find it hard to believe a near fifty year old man is still wailing over his lost childhood. Mind you, Eminem still whinges about his at around thirty-five.

Oh, and you might take the money and run if you were receiving death threats from Mr Jackson's loopy fanbase, as I seem to remember reading.

Don't tempt me. I can show you stuf that quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, even smells like a duck, but is in fact an inflatable swimming pool seat with a handy hole in the armrest to put your beer in.

I'm starting to look like a crazed MJ fan, but really, everything in HISlife has been so fecked up by media and public opinion, I feel the need to make people think twice about a fabulous musician and super entertainer.
