The Sisters (Ribbons) vs Genesis (Mama)

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Cor, that Rutherford's a looker, ain't he.

Hey Red, I've got a LOT scarier skeleton's in me closet than Genesis. Maybe one day...

And the 2nd album, 'Nursery Cryme' was pretty groovy, as well as the first live album, with PG all bedecked in his 'Watcher From The Skies' kit on the front cover and 'Hogweed' on the back (Leicester De Monfort?)

My second ever gig was Gabriel solo on his first european tour and memories of Rael The Imperial Aerosol Kid, all leather from the waist down and judo jacket from the waist up, leaping about on top of a grand piano still stands out clear.

I was also once invited to a party by a complete stranger, and made a whole new circle of friends, simply because I was carrying the 'Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' under my arm as I walked down the street ... Elderly Bastard Groovy ...

Which is quite understandable.
