ebay madness ...again

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,
Which is quite understandable.

That people are actually willing to pay such an amount of money for this stuff defies belief.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

It can't be that hard can it? Take a "rare" collection of songs, make a couple of dodgy covers using Nero cover maker, make a nice CD label, make 10 of the things, hey presto, instant limited edition.

I'm a designer to trade and a Sisters nut since the 80s, I have access to state of the art digital printing. I make my own covers for weeds, I just like to, the option is loads of CD-Rs lying about with no name, tracklist or jewel case. No way would I try and sell them on. It goes against the ethos of this board (unless I am mistaken QB) if you've got it brothers and Sisters, share it!

OK that's another of my rants outta the way
regards
Blast

PS I need to 'lighten up' don't I? :(

Hello all :)

Well all I can say on the matter is that when I recieved my copy of Furth from Redsunsets I was happily suprised by the cover and greatly apreciated the effort and thoughtfulness of it :notworthy: :notworthy:

I only wish I had the technology and knowhow to do the same meself :(

its a pretty good compilation - even includes "bon bon babies" :D :D :D :notworthy:

i have 1 minor irritation with it though - they have used the version of "snake dance" from the "electric shades" album - ie :"snake dance II", with a re-recorded piano section thats very nice, very melodic and very in-tune, completely unlike the original!

THE SISTERS OF MERCY rare stickered black cd, numbered limited fan club edition of 25 only
And when he's sold all 25 I'm sure he'll "discover" a "rare" 2nd edition of another 25.

The words 'horse', 'falling' and 'off' spring to mind.
