Lost - Giving Ground

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Good God. :urff:

Apart from that Lambchop cover of This Corrosion these always seem to be laughable.

I like it too, somehow. With this video ... there are far worse things in this world.

With Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards on vocals. I like the instrumental parts, though. 8-bitty cheapo sounds that do have their very own expression.
Not all bad.

same with me, instrumental parts do have their atmpshere even if they are very close to the original partly,
giving ground needs to be recorded again, i simply love that track by all accounts
love is just a shot away

I don't object to it. In the general ranking of Sisters covers this comes nowhere near the usual depths that are plumbed.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Wow, i like that black painted face. It is grinning so absurd that i had to laugh as well.

It is better than any metalish goth version, it is stupid but has a certain hook.

The original is so astounding that any cover sounds good.

I almost liked it probably because it reminds me alot of the minimal belgian scene in the early-mid eighties
