Was I Dreaming?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

At the end of Torchwood Wednesday, they showed bits that were going to happen on Torchwood Thursday. There seemed to be a bit lifted straight from the Sisterhood, but instead of going 2-5-zero-zero-zero, some folk were chanting 3-2-5-zero-zero-zero. Or some such

Maybe just my imagination, it had been a long day

Yes, I spotted that too. Turns out to be 10% of all the children in Britain. Or maybe they're just saying that to get a Sisters quote in.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

The writer, James Moran wrote the episode of Spooks immediately previous to the one which also quoted "Finland Red, Egypt White".
Spooky, eh?

I watched the episode last night.
"32500" I said to my wife that sounds like The Sisters of Mercy.
She said it looks like them too (Dry ice etc...)

Er, so what you're saying is that James Moran didn't write the episode of Spooks that quoted the Sisters.

Along similar lines, I don't know if anyone saw the pilot to the rather silly "Warehouse 13"? Because at one point there were two girls walking along, rather out of focus, behind the main action, and they each had on what looked to be shirts with a green Sisters head and star logo. I couldn't really tell for certain, though; mind you, the plot of the show revolved around references to Lucretia Borgia, so it would have fit...

I saw a young lady the other day wearing a Sisters T-shirt and very little else.

Do I win £5?
