Now here's a lesson for everyone: linking something like 9/11 "conspiracy" "theory" with yetis and aliens is a way to associate it as ridiculous in the audience's mind as yeti is - that is a form of psychological warfare.

Here's one for the trivia buffs:

KLF used the pre-FALAA incarnations of the Dok (Roland TR808 and TR909) throughout their active years ('87-92), but acquired the Akai S900 sampler around the same time Von did in 1988.

Since KLF turned into NME sweethearts, Von's following off-hand comment may refer to them in regards to the TR808:

In the early nineties, as acid house was developing a cult around this drum machine, it was suddenly very fashionable to riff along to TR808 sounds. We did that almost ten years earlier, when the cocktail drinking classes and the NME thought it was a bloody stupid idea. - Doktors
