Apologies in advance...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

The "new" songs, like post-Vision Thing - are there any bootlegs of studio versions floating around? How come tapes of tapes were so much easier to come by in the olden days? Is Himself just the strictest Head of Network Security ever? He kinda has that look about him.

There's plenty of rumours that he leaked them himself in the old days in order to fund his hobbies and lifestyle. Since Vision Thing he's got a few royalties to live off of. Other than the live recordings there's been no studio stuff since Under The Gun..... :|

Good rumour! I just presumed that was the way it was with all demos of bands in general, but now that I think of it, Sisters stuff was leaking like a sieve, wasn't it?

But how does he keep the modrin stuff so tight? You'd think somebody woulda been disgruntled along the way? Even Gary Glitter had to splash out on a new laptop.

I believe he's used pretty much the same road crew and 'Nurse' for a good few year now. Perhaps when Adam left he took the Demo tapes with him (if they've recorded anything that is?) :|
