RIP Patrick Swayze

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Oops, yes, I meant to post that at the same time as the Keith Floyd one.

TBH, he beat the odds to survive pancreatic cancer as long as he did. :|

My girlfriend had a mad crush on him, and still I thought he was a pleasant chap.
There must have been something true about that.
And a good actor.
And standing up against the illness that consumed him.
What a chap.

I really, really dug The Beast. Would have been nice to have it continue, but it's nothing without his performances.

oosh with that body and attitude! *yummy*

although "Dirty Dancing" before Point Break was played over and over and over in the house I was living in....should have turned me off!

I'll probably forever think of him as the quintessential "Mr Chick Flick" on account of Dirty Dancing and Ghost. Growing up in the 80s, at one point it seemed almost impossible to escape from the guy, but it can't be denied that he was something of a cultural icon.

Fare thee well.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
