new model army on tour

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Saw em in Athen in May, and they were fantastic, top gig, as always.

A christmas warm up show. Last year it was The Sage in Gateshead.

They sometimes do small shows before a big tour, I remember going to watch them in The Little Civic in Wolverhampton in either 04 or 05 with about 200 other people. :D

Warsop is about fifteen minutes drive from me.I've been to the Black Market once,to see a mate from works death metal band support Mansfield death metallers Evoke(Warsop is a spit away from Mansfield) it was meant to be a fiver in with a free pint of Becks thrown in,but only about five folks turned up,so it was free.We still got the free Becks. The venue is essentially a small town (England) pub, with a function room with a stage at the back. This will be f**king brilliant.

notts is nearest for me. wouldn't mind travelling further afield if they were playing, say leeds, but don't like anywhere else they are on that much. saying that, i last saw them in northampton which is a daleks armpit of a place.

re: NMA live: saw them on the thunder & consolation tour twice, impurity four times, hopeless causes once, and at reading and brixton academy "back in the day" ie when rob heaton was the drummer. it was only when i saw them on the carnival tour after rob's untimely death, that i realised how integral mr. heaton was to the band (as well as being one of the few drummers who i'd freely admit to being better than myself ). without him the dynamic is very different, and talented and able though the others may be, it is very much justin and his band. "water" is a fine song though and the classics are well played; it's just not quite the same. (IMHO).
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
