i agree. they're "stoopid" and completely gonzoid, and there's a very strong possibility that they are a complete bunch of one trick ponies of the highest order, but they do what they do with great aplomb, they make me laugh, and their "iron maiden meets queen" brand of metal is much easier on the ear than justin, britney, et al, so hats off to them... 8)

the way is ee it is that they're another band in the same ilk as sputnik, beachbuggy and sheep on drugs - basically, they have a very particular idea of what a rock band should be about, and they have refined that idea and exploit it very well indeed. and the public buy into it totally. best of luck to them - if it keeps s**t metal like linkin wank of mtv then i'm all for it 8)

I ment the beer would have to be free because I am in my 40's and have seen many a support band at a UFO/Judas Priest/Argent gig that could blow the Dorkness off stage, guess it comes with the territory. Enjoy anyway Emily and welcome back Mrs. Mount B! :D

the reason I mentioned Argent was that they were so-so but the support 'Dirty Tricks' were ace! Way better than The Dorkness! Dirty Tricks did nowt and disappeared without a trace after 2 albums... <sigh> these things happen even when Hipgnosis design your 2nd album cover.
BTW I still like Argent ;) and I am Holding that same Head Up!
