NFL @ Wembley: Buccs v Pats

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Anyone watching? I'll try and catch a bit during the afternoon, but seeing as my comedy Raiders aren't playing and I've Other Stuff to do I won't see the full game.

 I guess that was a no, then.

FWIW Buccs 7 Pats 35. As predicted.

...And the Raiders lost. Again.

There was a study done somewhere (er, probably the US) and it worked out that the average tackle in the NFL had the same effect as being hit by a small truck. Nice.

There's nothing quite so wince-making as the line of scrimmage 'hut, hut, hut KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERACK' sound or the full on side tackle thwack. Fav's gotta be the unsuspecting quarterback sack

As a Raiders fan, I'm all too familiar with the QB sack. Russell is given poor defence by his OL and frequently ends up on his $65m ass :(
