T.U.B.E. torpedoed :(

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The Ultimate Bootleg Experience has been pulled by Blogger.

RobZombie pointed it out on here a few years ago, and I have pinched many a goodie from there. Looks like 'The Man' has shut it down.

Yarbles!

I may even have uploaded a Nefilim boot :innocent:

it was a great resource, but the rest of blogspot is still a rich vein of vintage audio downloads though - all is not lost ;)

think of an old album, google the name of it and the artist, along with the word 'blogspot' and you rarely have to go beyond the first 3 results to find a download

eg:

"mick ronson slaughter on tenth avenue blogspot" :D
http://www.google.com/search?q=mick+ron ... e+blogspot

"roxy music thrill of it all blogspot" :innocent:
http://www.google.com/search?q=roxy+mus ... l+blogspot

"iggy pop zombie birdhouse blogspot"
http://www.google.com/search?q=iggy+pop ... e+blogspot

you just have to look a bit deeper ;)

Thats the method I have been using for the last couple of years with great success :D unless an artist gets wind of it and closes the link down, but thats a rare occurrence.

Google actually has a blogsearch. For example:

Ooooh neat one. :notworthy:

But yeah, blogspot searches have been a lifeline here too. Of course, when I find anything I like I'll always buy it, otherwise I'll delete the stuff I've downloaded afterwards. Of course.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
