Can I vote twice?
Yes, it sounds unfair but... still can't choose between Some Girls and Floodland
Favourite Sisters Album?

Re QB's comment about adults - is that kinda why we aren't having a referendum on the European constitution? Nanny state indeed.

Well, you should've included The Reptile House tho. I know it's not really a full album, but the best album they EVER made, IMHO.
And WHERE oh WHERE is SSV?
IZY.

Can't choose. There are many artists/bands i like, there are many artists/bands who i like 3 or maybe 4 songs, and that's it, but The Sisters of Mercy are one of the few artist's/bands who i like almost every song, that's why they're one of my favourite artists/band, so i just can't choose.
The only somewhat difficult choice is between "FALAA" and "Floodland". On one hand, FALAA is good all the way through, Floodland is excellent except "Torch" and "Colours"... (Torch is simply not good, and Colours is only "good")
I think I would have voted FALAA if the production was better, but the final decision was Floodland.

We are coming down but we will never, never land

To be fair, neither of those two songs were meant to be on the album. AFAIK they were just stuck on the end of the CD as bonus tracks, and they aren't on the vinyl release (cassette just has 'Torch' as a bonus.)

I see it doesn't say 'Favourite Sisters CD' if it did, I'd go for Philly '97

Gah, Vision Thing is the bollox.. written at a time when The Sisters were actually a fully functioning unit... hey, its a bit RAWK, but that's half the fun of it...dee902 wrote:All of them EXCEPT Vision Thing. Vision Thing's only saving grace is Ribbons.

I have no real preference, but I listen to Floodland & Vision Thing a lot these days. Some Girls I rarely listen to because I prefer to listen to the vinyl (Reptile House ) ... I will remain undecided.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
