Favourite Heartland experience

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I think my favourites were:

Joseph's Well 2005 -- a kiss from :von: *swoons*

Dave's Back Garden. Plots were lost, fun was had.

That really was a top nite out! :notworthy:
The ARF/NFD night in Leuven (+ post gig drinks) was another fine mess... but for me thee best ones are the Paris 2006 & Zottegem 2007 gigs. Loads of people from all over Europe (& beyond!). Fun to da max in very, vey good company :D :notworthy: :notworthy:
Yes, those two are also top of my list as best GIGS! Paris 2006 I think was the biggest crowd of HL'ers together though?! :notworthy: :notworthy:
Zottegem 2007 was just a gem! :notworthy: :notworthy:

I must have mentioned it before :innocent:

Doing the end of the night "goodbye, kiss kiss" to everyone, Himself was in the corner. I said "Can I have a goodbye kiss off you too?" He said "that's the second-best offer I've had all night"

Indeedy, on both dates the actual gig was just a distraction... like the soundtrack to the immense fun we were having at the time! It wouldn't have been the same without :von: & the boyz on a nearby stage though

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Edit: Actually, can we drop this "better offer" stuff please? I don't want to embarrass anyone. :|

"The Bridge of Doom", in the Acoustic Garden

Zam-Zam curry house, New Briggate, summer 2006 (I think), sometime around 5am if I remember correctly :notworthy:

Pissing on Johnny's sunglasses as he lay bleeding on the toilet floor :innocent: (not as bad as it sounds, I promise)

Meeting you lot, you crazy fuckers!

Can't remember the rest, must have been good

Right well all you who didn't mention me can bog right off.

Guess I'd better say meeting Richey really!

Him, Francis, Ze Fiend, Jansen (I bloody KNEW you were having trouble - which is why I said, "I know I look slightly different!), Emily, Quiffy Quiffster, Paddy Pantsdown, Si, The Blast and Even Tim/Rick Astley and prolly others who I have momentarily forgotten.

Angel Inn and our 'goth' lunches which were usually liquid.

Great days.

Now that'll do. I'm not a bloody girl y'know. *Scratches arse*
