There's too many to list from the ones that bring a lump to my throat to ones which make you want to get the razor blades out.. but on a tear to the eye scale I agree with Emily "Emma" but it's one of the many live versions which does it for me. And "Who Wants To Live Forever" never could listen to it without welling up after "Highlander" It was on over a shop PA one Chrimbo and I had to leave for fear of being embarrasing sentimental old fool I am
"Ohne deine hilfe verliere
Ich mich in diesem ort"

Love is Blindness by U2. Especially when they did it live at Wembley in '93. It really was incredibly moving, more so when you think it was a stadium gig. And One as well.
And I can't be holding on,
To what you've got,
When all you've got is hurt.
And I can't be holding on,
To what you've got,
When all you've got is hurt.
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.

The The had their/his great moments, best of all IMO is the video - The The vs. The World, Johnny Marr's finest hour+, a great band on a great night.

Heard that saturday night live and acoustic courtesy of Justin Sullivan at Maxwells in Hoboken, NJ. Belter of a performance.
Songs that instantly throw me into the deep, dark hole of depression:
Little Fox[Heidi Berry]
Summoning Of The Muse/Host Of Seraphim[Dead Can Dance]
When All Is Said And Done[Abba].....ha!
Tomorrow Wendy[Andy Prieboy(later covered by Concrete Blonde)]
I Remember You[Eurythmics]
I Remember Who You Are[Swans]
When I Was Young[Danielle Dax]
Saturday's Child[Brendan Perry]....most of 'Eye Of The Hunter' for that matter.
Last Exit Of The Lost[Fields Of The Nephilim]
J.j.......

Sonic Boom - Angel
My mother told me there's an angel
Who watches us through our lives
Who guides us through the darkness
And steers us towards the light
No matter how I sit and think
And Lord you know I tried
Where was the guardian angel
On the day my best friend died
My mother told me there's an angel
Who watches us through our lives
Who guides us through the darkness
And steers us towards the light
No matter how I sit and think
And Lord you know I tried
Where was the guardian angel
On the day my best friend died
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Johnny Cash's version of 'Hurt'. Added poignance of the Man In Black's recent passing.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

I think we need cheering up.
Apologies to all who have seen this, I just think it's a classic
The following link below takes you to a eating out in London guide and specifically a review page for the Oxo Tower Brassiere. This is a genuine site, go to the link and read the review (there are no dodgy pictures).
Someone has somehow managed to slip through the net, scroll down and READ DATE 10/10/03. Go now before they catch on. It's an absolute cracker.
