Wayne Husseys drunken mumbles about The Sisters

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

maybe he deserves more credit but i still remember his 'carved in sand' and that pained and still pain my ears. bloody fuzzy tunes with senseless lyrics. but to be fair he made more records that Von, ok he - A.E.- made one really really great record after Wayne's left but it's only one.

If I was feeling cruel, I might say 'that's one more than the Mish ever made.'

Though I suppose if you take their total output, I suppose there
might be enough good songs to make one halfway decent album.

seconded ... and whatever about Wayne ... he did play some great guitar
sounds when he was with The Sisters of Mercy ... and surely they were
friends for some time ... otherwise this discussion were long forgotten ...
because it is not that we forgive as we forget, we forgive as we comprehend
and accept what happened and ... forgive others - and ourselves ... couldn't
tell which of the latter is more difficult ...

He's a good guitarist but his songs are feeble-minded. So was it said, so let it stand.

99.9% of what I hear nowadays on radio is even worse! So if you belong to the 0,1% of the bands that make okay music, I think that's not bad at all! And that needs to be said too!

as Being645 said it's a matter of taste so our deliberation about that are WRONG and pointless almost from the beging. of course even in music are some rules especialy when someone trying or tried to be a part of some kind of "classic" modern music (rock) composer.

about chosing between current music what can be listen in radio/tv and Wayne Husselhof's productions: to me it's like chosing between venereal disease and HIV - that's why i'm still digging in uld stuff.

conclusions:i don't give a damn what you're listening it's your choice it don't bother me but anyway you're still WRONG!

There's no need for that last line, Bartek! It doesn't add anything to the pointlesness of this discussion, like you mentioned before in your own words... :?

However, it seems to me that Andrew thought the direction Wayne wanted to take after FALAA,
was not fair towards the people ...

Nowadays one might say - a different damage needs a different treatment ...

However, Wayne went away and the trust and the basis were no longer one ...

And there is one more point ... Wayne could have caused far worse difficulties ... he didn't.
A least bit of fairness, I'd say.

But anyway, I'm only guessing ...

i still don't get the point why people react that hostile to everything connected with the m*****n. run an (crucial) update, people!

this forum would even be better if some of you were to transfer their goodwill from the general forum (in healing the world discussions) also into the sisters-forum.

happy christmas everybody
