Now that Chris's star is very much in the ascendency, do we (the people) assume The Sisters as a living breathing organism are a thing of the past.
It looks like Chris will have less and less time to spend on The Sisters.
Will call it a day or try and recruit a new full time member or is he happy with the arrangement?
Just a stream of consciousness rant, that's all.
DISCUSS.

I don't know that that's necessarily the case. Chris has always struck me as the kind of guy who's happiest when he's busiest. I'm sure he'll find time for a month or so every couple of years.Hom_Corleone wrote:It looks like Chris will have less and less time to spend on The Sisters.
It's not as if the Sisters actually need "full-time members" is it?

I think Chris is like the Duracell bunny, he could probably do at least 3 or 4 other projects. Maybe each of the Sisters and the Machines fulfils something for him that the other doesn't?
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

it's true- Chris seeems to need to be a part of few projects just look at his band history. and it's also true that the sisters dosen't need full time member because it's just a touring band, ye know cat food and etc.
and as we see Chris did more than just playing guitar doing back-voc, bouncing and jumping on stage (still, arms).
he is one of the best thing that happend to the sisters since 1993, imo.

Joking aside, I think you've pretty much hit the nail here.

He doesn't have to be bothered to record anything, like a new Sisters album, so he has lots of free time. Only the occasional gig with old sunglasses.
Only the Americans could have built a place like this in the middle of a jungle.

Chris now in the band only has it plus points all the way but seriously if there is no lead man there is no real sisters.
I'm sure is not feeling that old yet to call it a day anyway!

anyhow it is he/she is just WRONG.
we'll see just a young chaps haveing a good time on stage and being on lift up for their own 'career' and just btw. for most of you festival of remembrance.
i think that i moved meself to JB group - people who does not bother of this so-called band. anymore. and really.

Ha ha.
I've just remembered the majority of initial reactions about Chris joining the band a couple of years ago.
How funny are some of the things that time brings.
Thank God good old AE is still the only certain and incontestable part of it all.

I just hope they both Chris and Ben stay in the band for as long as possible, because they are good and it would be difficult to find somebody equally good to replace them. Not impossible probably, because the world is full of good and skilled and talented guitar players, but these two seem to have the kind of personalities that fit in that band very well these days.
