Killing In The Name Of. Christmas No 1!!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Amazon sales don't count towards chart placings.

This is all a crusty puddle of pish really but if you get any enjoyment out of it and it isn't hurting anyone (esp. Mr Cowell) then why not.I'd rather donate my spare change to some wino that would put it to better use.

Achmed sold up, thi baisturt! Nae mair cheap Holsten, no sure aboot the confectionary line, anyway the shoap hus hud a facelift, is easier to browse and Achmed rev. 2.0 and rev. 2.1 seem like nice enuff chaps.
The original Achmed is taking a year off and intends to open a "Ruby Murray" hoose in the derelict space next tae Achmed's Emporium in the coming year.

A fairly meaningless distinction I'd say.

With lots of peace and love and joy and
Jingle bells on it
This is our Christmas single
Please make it number 1
And give us all your money
To make our Christmas fun

Cashing in on Christmas
Hear those cash tills ring
Jingle bells make money
Everybody sing

Cos' we are rockin'
Ooh every Christmas we're rockin'
Say Santa Claus and we are rockin'
Ooh jingle bells and we're rockin'
Well every Christmas we're rockin', we're rockin all the way to the bank

Cashing in on Christmas
Hear those cash tills ring
Jingle bells make money
Everybody sing

*Little girls' voice*
I want to wake up on Christmas morning
With the snow all over the ground
With Bad News' Christmas single in my stocking
It only costs just over a pound

Hello, this is Den Dennis
I hope you're all having a very merry Christmas
This is our Christmas single, please buy it and make it number 1
For our Christmas fun

Hello everybody, it's Vim Fuego here,
Sorry I can't be with you this Christmas
But I'm in the Carribean with all your money
Having a good drink and a laugh
Have a nice one, merry Christmas

Cashing in on Christmas
Christmas girls and boys
Cashing in on Christmas
Let's make lots of noise

Cos' we are rockin'
Ooh every Christmas we're rockin'
Say Santa Claus and we are rockin'
Ooh jingle bells and we're rockin'

Cashing in on Christmas
Christmas girls and boys
Cashing in on Christmas
Let's make lots of noise
(Repeat to end)

Hello everyone this is Colin Grigson
Please give as generously as you can to Bad News this Christmas, because, remember,
There are people in the world who are much better at spending your money than you are,
And that's us. Ha ha, merry Christmas!

But if you buy it at 29p from Amazon it doesn't count towards the charts.

Read a few posts from the first page, couldn't be arsed reading the next few...

My take on it is,
I love Rage. I really love em. :notworthy:

Couldn't give a flying f*ck about all this crap though. Charts were manipulated back in the day when they stopped the Sex Pistols getting to No.1 so who cares about it all now.

Good luck to Rage, hope they get it just to p*ss the majority off however.

Don't like RATM and I've never watched, and never been interested in, the X factor.

From what I have understood from all this is that I'd rather Christmas number 1 wasn't angry and abrasive. I guess that means I'm pro X Factor. I'm all for songs about drugs, violence & sex, but I'd rather not have them between the Queen's speech and the Dr Who special thankyou very much.
Nationalise the f**king lot.

If one were going to choose a RATM song for such a campaign, surely "Take The Power Back" would be more apt?
For what it's worth, I quite like Killing In The Name Of SebastiAn, as it makes a change from hearing the original everywhere.

I'm not buying either. I will top the charts one day. Just not this December. I have more important things to do.

let me clarify: RATm are not as bad as the Red Hot Chili Crappers, but very close...

Unfair.ROCP are 9 on the Travis scale. David Grey is 8.
To clasify RATM anywhere near that end of the Travis scale is an injustice. ;D
