So we (girls, boys and everyone) had better not leave it up to them.
Of course, we will surely not resolve it here and today, but ... still - there is hope.
resolve what exactly?Being645 wrote: Of course, we will surely not resolve it here and today, but ... still - there is hope.
Something wrong with the forum?
I can't see any major issues.
If it ain't broken. Don't fix it.

I have read every word.
I found it really hard to understand what you wrote though.
Sorry if you had an unhappy past, but I'm not sure this is the place to air that.
Maybe I'm wrong. So stab me.
What I see is a thread that started with a request for a ladymod.
It then appeared to turn into a public airing of something much deeper.
The BOSS laid down a pretty concise summation of what he needs in a mod.
One of those was level headedness IIRC.
Nuff said methinks.
Bollix.
You unloaded a very personal post.
Admittedly, it was a bit hard to comprehend, but it was a very personal post.
You "aired" your issues

Bit of dalek there

Well....it started out with MB wanting a female mod and ended up (very possibly unintentionally) more an exemplar of androcentrism.Hom_Corleone wrote:I am struggling to see where any of this is going...really.
Me? I don't give two hoots but is that because over the years I've become brainwashed into believing that 'men know best'

Jokes aside - Being645, I understand everything what you wrote if it makes you feel better.

Thank you _emma_ and paint it black and everybody ...

to the feedback section has surely been better, considering the point in the
process and the enormous dynamics it developed ... and with bulldogs like me at your trousers ... ... ...
And of course ... I gotta admit, I do lack humour sometimes ... ...

Indeed (and not for the first time), a public airing likeWhat I see is a thread that started with a request for a ladymod.
It then appeared to turn into a public airing of something much deeper.
And becoming ever worse...Are you suggesting Heartland lacks a feminine touch?
If you can find a mentally stable female Heartlander, then maybe we'd consider it.
Good luck with the search.
But I agree to Chairman Bux now - drawing this point from the general chatStalker fight
I was thinking you vs. Emma actually, but you obviously missed that one.

Well..Life is like a tree full of monkeys, all on different limbs at different levels. Some monkeys are climbing up, some down. The monkeys
on top look down and see a tree full of smiling faces.
The monkeys on the bottom look up and see nothing but assholes.
Cool, but what exactly you mean I have no idea.
This has to be one of the most ambiguous threads in General Chat, right?
Edit: Bummer, it's Feedback. Sorry. I still have no clue what you mean and who you are comparing to what type of monkey.

Nah _emma_ we are in Feedback!
What have I done!
*Edit ~ okay clever lady you are with me then...that monkey referral if you ask me...means that there are some of us up high on the ladder to the top...hee...so imagine a tree and monkeys as users. Those of us at the top smile down seeing the rest climb their way upwards and onwards...but being on the bottom of the climb, when you look up all you see is arseholes...
Well...just to keep this clean...I wear underwear thank you very much! And slaps the one looking up my arsehole! Good grief!

at all the assholes and/or smiling faces, you see - they differ! Some of them do
even look attractive... most of them have a smell of their own, others are perfumed ...
Some wear underwear ... ... great point, btw, MB ... ...

Yeah, I got that bit. What I don't get is to whom exactly Mrs Thousand's metaphor is referring, and why.MadameButterfly wrote:that monkey referral if you ask me...means that there are some of us up high on the ladder to the top...hee...so imagine a tree and monkeys as users. I'm a parrot on that tree BTW, so I don't know much about monkey behaviour.
