Let It Snow...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

;D

In other snow-related news, I slipped and fell on my arse in the snow on Friday night. I'm sure the 6 pints didn't help my balance, but still. I fell a bit awkwardly and my left leg is sore.

No sign of snow ploughs or gritters up our road all winter
The central heating packed in on Friday night
It's been -10 during the day & -12 at night
We have Two pensioners, Two cancer sufferers and a Three year old child up our road all relying on my works Land Rover and we're "Not a Priority" according to the council

0° = brrrr ;D

reminds me of the radio a couple of days ago, some woman suggested (and was sure of this) no one is aloud to work if the temperature is below 18° ... at the moment it is between 5° and 10° at work and we have firewood to last just over a week  ... some people

I'm without electricity and without water (even cold) since Friday, and it's said to be fixed MAYBE by Saturday.
Outside the snow and ice and trees broken by the wieght of it make it impossible to open the garage and drive out to the town.
Right now I'm at work - got here by bus, the fourth one in the morning, because the first 3 just didn't appear. Tomorrow I'm going to wash in the office's bathroom here. Last night I washed in a molten snow (thank God it was still + 12 degrees inside the house, so it could melt). :-) Snow is also the current means to flush the toilet. Oh, and the food I had in the freezer is now sat in the pile of snow and neatly covered with ice.
Tonight I'm going to buy 200 candles, a litre of rum, and 5 pairs of knickers (because the washing machine doesn't work without electricity, haha) and I hope I'll survive this week. :D
