I'm a huge fan of ol' JG Thirwell, but I thought that FALAA was pretty bad--he really just phoned it in. I expect more from him.

edit: and I still think the best TSOM cover I've ever heard is the Supersuckers doing Afterhours.

he claims that he hadn't even heard the original - he just found the lyrics on the web and put them to a tune he was already working on We are not worthy!

So he's got even less excuse for it being that s**t. Marvellous It wasn't me...

And the best Sisters cover imnsho is Messrs 'Christ and Christo doing Vision Thing.

Well, that would explain it. That's a shame, though: I bet he could have done something really neat with it if he'd been familiar with it.

DocSommer, you absolutely rule! Quite magnificent tool you shared with us!
We are not worthy!

As of the subject of covers, I have to say that I love the Marian cover by Nouvelle Vague and (I know I'm gonna be crucified by saying this...) Cradle of Filth's No Time to Cry.

With a band name like that, I can do nothing else but shudder in horror at the thought of how abominably, inhumanly bad it must be.

Hi,

Haven't been on this forum for a whle, so it may be covered already. But anyways, this is the best SOM cover I ever heard:

Zis corrozion

I quite like this cover. Very different take on This Corrosion true, but that's exactly why I like it. Cool

All I can say is: ugh ugh ugh. Get thee back to the cave.

That is awful. And the video too is just... ugh.

Seriously. That is offensively bad.
