I've never even heard of a promo for Detonation Boulevard existing.Big Si wrote:
In america, once you hit Billboard top 50 or so, then it's made commercially available. Until then it's a promo only for the radio dj's to play about with.
Canada? I don't have a scooby!

I stand corrected.
but it's not really a SINGLE though, is it? a one-track promo with a front sleeve?
The jury's still out on wether a DB single was released in the USA

Again, according to Billboard rules anything that reaches the Top50 finally gets commercially released (unless its U2 or Britney Spears), prior to that its position is based on it's popularity with DJ's and listeners requests. So technically it was released in the USA, but not commercially (available to you or me).

Ladies and gentlemen, we have closure on this issue!
Detonation Boulevard WAS released on single in the USA (sort of).
That explains why a video was made for it, and why it appears on ASCOB.
one of life's mysteries; solved by Heartlanders!

There is still a major gap in this Greatest Hits schtick - Poison Door, On The Wire, Bury Me Deep, You Could Be The One... anymore?

They were all B-sides, not A-sides, hence why they aren't on this compilation. Although, lets behonest they deserve a release of their very own!Red Sunsets wrote:There is still a major gap in this Greatest Hits schtick - Poison Door, On The Wire, Bury Me Deep, You Could Be The One... anymore?
