now this is odd
just got this from facebook - they're looking for people to be extras in a film about boy george - you have to look an blitz-era 80s throwback though
------------
Worried About The Boy - A TV film about Boy George
We have been asked to appeal for extras for the above film. It's set in 1981 and will feature scenes set in London's Blitz Club ("the birthplace of New Romantics"). Filming will take place in Manchester between 8th February and 5th March. If you're interested, please read through the following before clicking on the link at the bottom which will display an image of guidelines for some of the more specific people needed. Please note that you can just apply to be an extra if you don't fit the criteria in the link - you will be paid and fed and watered, which will make up for the probability that you'll be really really bored.
Anyway, here's the contact details and instructions from the production company, followed by a link to the more specific requests below;
"We are also generally looking for young, quirky people willing to dress up in 1980’s gear to feature in the ‘Blitz Club’ scenes.
If you are interested please send your name, age, contact telephone number, dates available and a current photograph to;
iwanttobeanextraontv@gmail.com
If you don’t have bleached hair or a mohawk but are willing to and fancy a free hair cut please still apply! This also applies for anyone with long hair willing to have it cut into one of the above styles!"
------------
they're also looking for celeb lookalikes to feature in the film:
