Bizarre cover versions

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well, not bizarre, rather good 8)
Catherine Wheel also does a cover of Wish You Were Here. It's not bad.

It's very slow isn't it. I'd have to be in a certain state of mind to really appreciate it I think.

Japanese band Melt Banana did a really crazy cover of Kraftwerk's Showroom Dummies. It's probably on kazaa if anyone wants to assault their eardrums.

Bernard Manning - Girlfriend In A Coma, a snippet in Jonathon Ross' Last Resort, late 80s, sure I still have that on tape-----------> searches in vain through the Archives Of Oblivion

Warriors of Ghengis Khan?
Hell, Death + Destruction used to do that one circa. 1987! Damn, I knew that bassline would come in handy someday!!!

opening lyrics --->
Burnin' Lootin' Rapin' Shootin'
I did not write them and it was not my idea to cover it...

good bassline tho :D

That version of "Mad World" from Donnie Darko that 6music are plugging at the moment - that's quite nice. Can't remember who sings it though.

Ooh look - Road Kill no more :)

I forgot all about that! LOL. I thought it was pretty funny.

I also like Devo's cover of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction".

Curve's cover of Donna Summer's I Feel Love is pretty good and not at all bizarre. Well worth tracking down.
