Singles night

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Assuming the Sisters release a new single, how high up the UK charts do you think it will reach? Bear in mind that their previous two singles (Temple of Love + Under the Gun) reached numbers 3 and 19 respectively in 92-93

The Neph's - From the Fire didn't do too well (but most of the fans had already downloaded it from t'internet 3 years before).

Sorry everyone, I made a hash of this. (plus me PC crashed, which slowed me down).
The list of options is now 100% finished.

Depends on what they release. If it's something that will only be bought by Sisters fans then I'll prompt for Woolies with a bullet.
BUT, if it's something that will be bought by Sisters fans and appeal to another section of the record buying public, then I would go for ...top ten!

In the (unlikely) event the Sisters sign to a major label, there's every chance a top 10 single would happen, assuming the label is up to the job of promoting the product.
If the likes of Evanesence can score a number one, why not the Sisters? We all know Crash & Burn and Summer etc are better than anything else in the charts right now...

I've voted for Top 30. But I don't how many a single has to sell to get in to the top 30. From what I've heard it's dropped alot over the years.
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.

I'm feeling unusually optimistic, since this is hypothetical, let's say top twenty.

And fools seldom differ...

Since I'm no fool, shall we go for the former?
