HL Meet - possible scenarios discussed HERE

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Yes! What is in the works? I started trying to organise something with Raf and then that seemed to fall through as people started pulling out... cannot be arsed to read this entire thread and find out all the details... but what's happening now :?:

Oh, Debs, that's terribly soon for me too - I've really got to get settled in my new job before I go asking for any holidays. Is there any way it could be later?

Well then boys and girls put on the thinking hats! Which season would you all like to see Belgium in and when does it suit the most of you, answer with a month please. See setting something like this up, for Belgium, I'm sure I could call myself the PA to all the organizing this takes. Where in Belgium are you lusters looking at and if the Belgium boys how have contacts of something easy to arrange, let me know! Oh and if you read this whole thread we had bands willing to play on the night but they are from the UK, NL, Belgium and would have to travel to Belgium on their own costs!
We would have to have an entrance fee for HL followers in an area easy to plan cheapish accomodation & where the public transport can transport us.

So when, where, who, are the questions.

Answer them and let's just do it! Easy as pie.

why don'tcha just get in touch with the Dead Before Dawn guys, they put on gigs all the time?

pish EMO/Body/Electro shite combos, but from the 'darker' side, nonetheless

Much like lunch, there's no such thing as a free shag.

Back on topic - early summer might be possible. 8)

As for accomodations, when in Lier, visit the 'Florent' hotel! ;D

If and when this show hits the road, lemme know. Us Belgians can do the infrastructure and accomodation thaang, after you Eengleesh got your arse in gear about a place, date, time and means of transport.

Lier is a nice place, and the Back T Roots Parties Debs is alluding at are 4 times a year.

James mentioned Dead By Dawn, my all-time fave emo-kids. A gig organised by them is also a nice event to attend, then again, I'm still in favor of Lier, possibly Leuven as Places of Attack.
