I see dead people

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I spoke to him after a God Machine gig in Liverpool Planet X in around 1991. Such a sweet, lovely bloke.

Apart from that, I've seen Mary Hansen (Stereolab), Chris Acland (Lush), Nick Sanderson (Earl Brutus) and the much-missed John Balance (Coil).

I've also seen Herman Brod, shortly before he left ... and the Ramones,
and Bruno Frenzel (Birth Control) and Peter Panka (Jane), think I also saw Rory Gallagher some time ...
I'm sure there are many more since I partly didn't even know the name of all the bands we went to see ...

The hubby & me got to see him live at one of the festivals in NL. Just before he died, that's why the impact of his death caused shivers down my spine. We both have all the cd's he ever brought out and burn a candle on every full moon. He was just a boy and drowned. Very sad loss to the music world.

Don't look for 'digs' MB, there's not one there. Never got myself into gear to see him when he played near here in 94 otherwise I could've added his name.

Sorry Ness, no looking for a dig! I'm really one of the lucky ones to have seen him play live! His voice was the of an angel Ness, live as on cd or recordings. And he was so young. Just a loss to the music world like I say.
At my funeral one of his song will be played! :notworthy:

Your 'flying solo' thread appeared not long after, so the mistaken assumption was mine. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

We all have to leave here and go onto the other side Ness.
I still don't have a will or funeral plan but am thinking about music.
I'm not going anywhere soon but here.

That other flying solo wasn't meant for you anyway!

Jimmy Fernandez (The God Machine); Joey & Johnny Ramone, Cliff Burton (interviewed him back in '85 at the Metal Hammer Festival in Germany), Dimebag Darrell (Pantera, Damageplan), Wannes Vandevelde (who bought me a drink even though he didn't know me from Adam, top chap).

Infinite regret for never having seen them before they kicked the bucket : Layne Staley, Frank Zappa and Stevie Ray Vaughan...
