Last time I checked, there was nothing new -Quiff Boy wrote:meh.
choque's old 48Crash label was churning out those kinda girl bands over 7 years ago.
The Big Pink = JAMC
Editors = Bauhaus
- and so on.
But I will concede that the album, when it lands, may well be one of those that gets played almost continuously for a couple of months and then is rarely touched again.
BRMC's second album being a point in case.
Finally, to reveal the full extent of my ignorance, who/what is Choque and 48Crash?

used to be the guitarist in salvation, then was in hollow men, then in black star liner. has remixed all kinds of people like asian dub foundation etc. produced gary marx's stuff, and co-ran a label called 48 crash for which he was the house producer & talent scout. now does wonky dub under the name of "axxo" for the killtone label - http://killtone.co.uk/

only a limited number of actual releases before they packed in, but they had a roster of bands that included a few girl bands very similar to this lot, such as the ivories (who supported the sisters circa 2006, i think)
