Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

In a way, it is surely right this soldier is being questioned at court ... while the original examples and their
offspring and associates will probably go without the least accountability, since they have law at their service ...

My parents are both children of WWII and of that nasty regime we had over here in Germany ... and I paid
with my body for all they had seen when they were kids, for all their fear and all their fearfully driven need
to adopt to whatever "societal" demands ... and they were not an extraordinary exception. They are just
normal human beings. And a human being can just not take everything without certain consequences. And
things like waterboarding one's own kids it just where it comes to when people learn they have to fight for
their survival ... and every government and media agent know ... and they know how to make these means
of fear and violence - and death - serve their interest and the interest of their cousins in economy.
Legally ... and with further comrads in science, for example, assisting them ...

Always been the same, all over the world ... obviously, no development out of that disregard for anything
we've got. An entire waste of all human grace could achieve ... justified with arguments, that waste is a
capacity of nature ... produce thousands so that a few hundred survive ... and who is this human race,
that we should find another way, especially since it's so easy when your seed has coincidentially fallen
on fertile and advantagous grounds ...

I'm quite sarcastic, yes, or maybe it's my deepest pet hate. Hopefully, one day soon I'll get hold again
of better means to express it. I've got them somewhere (reminders as to their whereabouts always welcome) ...
I shall try ... since in here, I really prefer nothing but the good things ... and I still think it's worth it ...

Sorry dear, but sometimes you simply don't have a clue! The rest I deleted of your post is because it's the same old story and that of an abused child that only sees life from one side. Or it could be your age.

No. The support families get from any military person in most countries is zero or minimum to zero. The after effects the brain has to deal with after a man goes to war and kills and sees things to then come back into society there is no support for that family of that person. The post war syndrome is something every country has problems with. The rich countries give drugs to the victims but family support or psychological support of that person is so beyond the extreme that's it's no wonder these people come back full of aggression or depression that they can't carry on with their normal lives!

One thing my dear, you and you alone rule your own life. If you are going to hide in a corner, better stay there. If you are going to take part in a debate, know your facts first.

Don't believe everything you read coming from one person and open your mind to more opinions and ways in life. Do it for yourself.
Or at least that is what you will stumble upon in life.

Most abused children see their parents as the entire offenders ... or they agree at some point
to that culture of "learning the hard way" ... pretending they never had any problem with abuse ... :wink:

War affects the whole of a country, even those who stay at home (not to
mention the country where a war takes place ...). War is about death and
killing others, about killed, injured and maimed people ...

Though here I agree with debaser ... some - and maybe even the majority - are quite comfortable with it ... at least as long as they win ...

There is no guarantee or right ... there are a few minimum rights as to adequate housing, food, health, education or other such issues, some
countries have agreed to aspire (and partly with reservations) ... not more ...

Again you are in charge of how you do things in life. The points you have mentioned about minimum rights, well in a first world country I'm sure, but in third world countries, these minimum rights they don't have. People are still dying, starving to death. People are living on the streets thanks to no housing, people are dying from common influenza or malaria just because the health education is not up to standard and people are sending children to work for minimum wages that the first world countries support where as these children should be getting an education.
The countries involved in war are usually the poorer countries, where there is something to gain, like money or resources in the ground and that's why war will never stop.
