HL Meet - possible scenarios discussed HERE

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I wonder what would happen if The Sisters announced another festival date in Benelux (or anywhere else for that matter) for 13-15 August. One week after Mera Luna...
Still no-one gets my point...
Christ this is hard work...
Why isn't this meeting happening at Mera Luna - an actual Sisters gig - A FORUM THING - perhaps the only Sisters gig this year..?
Instead there's a load of tripe about a meeting the weekend before with some s**t inferior/tribute bands, organised by some attention-seeking bint...
I will laugh my head off if there's a gig 13-15 August.
Next she'll be trying to get James Rays Gangwar back together... ;).
Stupid old trout!
Now why the fuck would we spoil what sounds like a top weekend with a Sisters gig?

You haven't quite got it, have you?

Sorry if you think I'm dim and asking an idiotic question, but seeing that this is your first post in this thread I take it you are just being sarcastic, right?

Oh and I promise not to stick my nose in here because I'm not going to attend the meeting anyway, but I'd like to tell you all that it's a great read, the 11 pages. If I were writing a thesis on human social behaviour I'd use it as a great material to study, good night. :notworthy:

i will inform you once i know more honey, sorry, forgot about reality when dates started popping up! Rhombus was confirmed, Body Electric, we can't afford, was negotiating prices with PURE KULT but their wages go too far for my budget. i'm sorry. got one band not confirmed but still as maybe.

venues are starting to fuckme off here, cause no-one gets back to me.

so if private party for Rhombus and maybe the unconfirmed band, a few young new dutch talents, and i'm having this as a home party.

if folks want to attend, let me know via PM, James then we can create artwork for entry, but it will be here. can i cover costs at my own door?

probably.

I think people, self included, will be counting the cost of travel around the same time as having to figure travel costs to see T' Sisters. I have limited funds in August now as I'm still considering Leamington Spa as a possible away day.

If you can still make it happen, I know Sharon would rather a weekend in Amsterdam chil-laxing

yes, let's stay realistic, most of you folk are going to one or more gigs that TSOM are giving. that's why the hands up! Rhombus i'm sure will understand, and chillin here for a weekend of relaxing is still no problem.

James I don't want game over, but see so many here as users, in these times have limited resources and this was supposed to be HL coming together...

honestly my feeling goes with just cancel this until next year?

most of you folk need to go out and party to TSOM cause you can!
