Fascinating film by Julian Temple tracing the rise and fall of Detroit.
It will be on iPlayer for those in the UK and it is well worth watching.

It was a rerun, right? I believe I've watched that on the beeb last year and yeah, it was great... it does do justice to the rich musical history the city has!

No, that prog was also shown later in the evening, The Requiem film is more about the history of the city itself, from the start of the automotive industry and influx of workers from the south through to the pre war/post war and current collapse.radiojamaica wrote:It was a rerun, right? Fascinating program, with a great sountrack of Detroit's finest.
They made no mention of Detroits Finest Adult Movies though
