I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this...
Last week I bought this copy of the Body Electric 7 inch. It was described as a limited edition reissue, and being less than £10 I thought it was worth a shot. I realised that it wasn't going to be the original version, but the thing is I've never heard of any bootlegs of Body Electric. It has the correct catalogue number CNT002, but kind of gives the game away by having 2009 printed on the back!
It seems that there's also a new version of Damage Done and a white vinyl Alice available.
Any ideas?
Nonesuch.

...I’ve never had the desire to make a record unless I have something to say...
Yeah, I saw those on eBay.
However, I got mine from:

if they're reading H/L 2x7 inch Reptile House on purple vinyl would be nice -Ozpat wrote:Appeared last year.

I bought mine at a record shop here in Lisbon. I think that they're been distributed worldwide...
They're cheap though, bought the 3 (DD, BE, Alice) for 25 euros.
The record shop also had a 12'' Blue vinyl promo album with all the extra tracks of the CD re-issues, for 15 euros.

I don't know where the bootleggers got their master tapes to press these bootlegs, but the sound isn't very good on them sadly! They look nice though hung up in the window.
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

Must admit I'd not bothered playing my copies (DD, BE or A) - bought them for decoration - I'd assumed they used SGWBM as a source?deadagain wrote:I don't know where the bootleggers got their master tapes to press these bootlegs, but the sound isn't very good on them sadly! cutting vinyl is not an easy thing, if you are not a professional. high frequencies have to be lifted before to have them at the normal, original level.Randall Flagg wrote:Must admit I'd not bothered playing my copies (DD, BE or A) - bought them for decoration - I'd assumed they used SGWBM as a source?deadagain wrote:I don't know where the bootleggers got their master tapes to press these bootlegs, but the sound isn't very good on them sadly!
