I had it, was very nice indeed.

Tonight I'm going for a curry - Jhinga Tandoori (that's king prawns the size of lobsters done in the tandoor) and I'm going to toss a coin on whether it's South Indian Garlic Chilli or Jalfrieze sauce. Sadly they don't do a Madras or a Vindaloo or I'd go for that because I'm one of those curry bravado people who would sooner have the lining of her stomach burnt off than admit defeat in the face of a chilli pepper. Ask Zedman and Si, they can vouch for this.

Garlic Chilli sounds good. :)

I once made this spiced vegetable confetti to go with some wok roasted tuna steaks using bird's eye chillies.
No one else could eat it so I felt compelled to finish it - the sweat was literally dripping from my brow.

I'm fairly certain the stomach ulcer must be in the post!

I'm debating wether I should try Haggis when I go to Scotland. Dunno if I could stomach it.
What are some other nice Scottish dishes?

where do you want me to start? best scallops in the world---best beef in the world---best langostines in the world-I could go on,
I serve king prawns with haggis and a glavya cream at work-there would be a riot if I took it of the menu

Right, forgot you are a chef. Which is :notworthy:
Anyway, I'll probably just be abit daring and try whatever on their menu's. Can't see myself going for the Haggis tho, but we'll see.

Haggis Neeps n' Tatties
Mince n' Tatties (or Dumplings)
Stovies
Cullen Skink
Roll and (Lorne) Sausage (with an optional doubler of choice - Tattie Scone, Black Pudding, Scrambled Egg, or an extra slice)
Fish Supper / Mince Pie Supper / Steak Pie Supper / Sausage Supper / Smoked Sausage Supper / Deep Fried Pizza and Chips (or a Munch Box - which is a pizza box full of mostly Pakora and Kebab with some Nan Bread, optional Salad and chips)
Kebabs
Mixed Pakora or any Curry ever invented.

And of course anything from Ma Blast's kitchen 8)

(Deep Fried Mars Bar is an invention from up north, and rarely seen in Glesga).

What do you mean Scotland is the Heart Disease Capital of the world? It's because we're Better Lovers  ;D
