Hey Quiff
the recent excitment over the new gigs promted me to ask - how many unique fans are on this site ?
Cheers

according to the forum stats:
"We have 3287 registered users"
out of that there's obviously a handful of duplicate accounts that have been abandoned (ie: re-registered because they forgot their login details etc), and obviously there are a lot of accounts where people have just "gone away" decided not to read HL anymore, for whatever reason
lurkers aside, our stats are pretty much inline with general online community trends
i'd we have a regular user base of around 300 people (which is approx 10% the total # of users)
of that 300, about a third are regular posters, and of that 100 there is a hardcore of about 50
afaik that's pretty typical for an online community
that can all change whenever there is some kind of band announcement (tours etc) however - the forum gets a flurry of activity from new users and old users who had previously dropped off the radar
if that answers your question?
