looks a bit like him in his later years. That's as far as it goes.moses wrote:A strange choice of venue/town. Could it be the Crowley connection?
The owner of the venue has a lot of contacts and has attracted some fairly big names so far.

Fuck it, if they play Leeds I'll probably not even bother going. It's all aboot the day oot, somewhere I've never been before, in Hom's territory.....and it has a nice parkNorman Hunter wrote:Or wait for the Leeds dateMaisey wrote:So we'll organise a Leeds contingent. I'll sob my little eyes out if we don't get the opportunity to visit the park for a relaxing jazz cigarette.DerekR wrote:Fuck it, if they play Leeds I'll probably not even bother going. It's all aboot the day oot, somewhere I've never been before, in Hom's territory.....and it has a nice park

Oh that will happen, rest assured. It's the Leeds gig I'd sack, yours is booked!Hom_Corleone wrote:I'll sob my little eyes out if we don't get the opportunity to visit the park for a relaxing jazz cigarette.DerekR wrote:Fuck it, if they play Leeds I'll probably not even bother going. Just about how unqualified are those rumours? Not that I will/can go myself, but it sounds interesting...a near meth thing?jost 7 wrote: and of course, unqualified rumours have them play leeds the weekend before ......

very unqualified, tbh
i've been told specifically that the leamington gig means there will be no need for a warm up gig before the euro festivals.
and i've never heard mention of any additional dates, leeds or otherwise. conversations have only ever involved those 4 gigs...
not that stuff can't get added at a later date or even at the last minute, but i'd hate for people to miss out altogether because they're holding out for something that doesn't happen.

Nearly time for a roll call by the looks of it.
We're still missing a couple of non-regular posters.
A certain local lad springs to mind. Heaven help us all when he does find out.

That would mean the live page would have to get updated AGAIN!!lazarus corporation wrote:Hmm - I think I might wait for a month or so to see if any other UK dates are announced before committing myself to a trip up to Leamington Spa.
A Brighton date would obviously be perfect, but I'll settle for Leeds or London.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I'd imagine that it's just a case of playing a central location as they played north/south last year.moses wrote:A strange choice of venue/town. Could it be the Crowley connection?

It's what Derek said. The show is just an excuse, not the real reason.DerekR wrote:It's all aboot the day oot, somewhere I've never been before, in Hom's territory.....and it has a nice park
