Wasting all your pocket money

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

It makes me want to cry when I think about the decline in popularity of arcade machines. Back in the early eighties, there wasn't a chippy in England that didn't have a permanent queue of scruffy youths waiting impatiently to throw away all their loose change.

your go only lasted about twenty seconds cos the games were so f**king hard, but what what the hey...

Just for you, Scardwell, I've altered two of the options.
Since there is a maximun of ten choices, I had to pick the most iconic games; it was uber hard to narrow the list down - I'd have liked to have included R-type, Ghouls n Ghosts etc. I Had to just pick the ALL TIME ARCADE DADDIES.

Show-off. I bet you kept cheating by using that 'elbow' attack all the time.

My altime favourite arcade game was a top-down motorcycle ralley game had you racing through different cities against cars and bikes. I can't remember the name now though :(

Could never get the hang of arcade games but I had a mate who was addicted to Missile Command. I got a degree in Eight Ball Deluxe pinball from Leeds University Student Union though. And spent far too much time playing Digger and Labyrinth when I got my first job in computers.
Go to sleep now, Francis.

That Gorgor looks like a beaut. Creature From The Black Lagoon, Indiana Jones, Star Trek and Judge Dredd were my faves, from memory. All were hammered relentlessly in The Drydock in the early ninties, when I should've been in Kitson College learning about hearts. Ah well.

Gorgar was the first speaking pinball machine. German speed-metallers Helloween even made a song about it, btw.

Nice to know that one's brain is filled up with all this useful information.

Ha! Sussed it. All by me lonesome.
