I was listening to a Mish boot last night from BP. Maybe it was the 60-90 second gaps between songs that began to grate. This was live after all. Maybe it was Hussey rambling on about nothing and sounding like a pissed Jarvis during said gaps. And then I remembered ...
That Guitarist on Jim'll Fix it!
Yep. Two 12/13 year olds had written in requesting to meet him. So whisk the girls of to the recording studio. Interview them on camera and then in sneaks Wayne behind them and sits down between them. Cue stunned, speechless teenagers. From memory he was very monosyllabic and in dire need of a personality transplant.
I also seem to remember he was 'diminutive'. Maybe Von only hires those he can tower above.
Rumours that the BBC switched to Hussey, as the girls first choice Andrew Eldritch had not been able to stop laughing since receiving the request, are unconfirmed.
Any other EBG's remember this undefineing moment in television history ..?
Now then, now then, now then ...
Wow, Wayne in need of a personality transplant?
When he played in San Diego last year. I and my 10 yr old daughter walked past his bus. He was the first to speak to us. He was very kind to her, chatted about his daughter and made her feel quite special.
Was a great night for her and she still hold that memory foundly.

Why don't you ask the kids at Tiananmen Square
Was fashion the reason why they were there?
They disguise it, hypnotize it
Television made you buy it

@JB, sorry for the gaps between the tracks. If you get cdex and download it you can fix that by extracting the tracks and burning a new cd. Using Nero, you check the no gaps box or something like that. Will send you a link to cdex, it's a great software. Just remember when you extract to fix the bitrate at higher than 128. Yeay! I'm getting there right? I do understand bitrate now, thx to C3!
I Know how annoying those gaps can become!
Dwarf eh? I guess so, considering Von's height or lack thereof.

I remember Mr. Hussey making a bit of an 'erse of himself on a James Whale show, but having said that James Whale was even more objectionable than Richey

I had exactly the same problem with Nero.Plus my pc didn't like it.Snub Nose wrote:anyone know how the hell to get nero to burn a d.i.y. track listing onto cd-r?
i tried, and it seemed to take hours to copy the tracks on disk, in
cd-a format or something...is it normally such chore?
I gave up after a couple of days and got Roxio Easy DVD &CD Creator 6,which is fine, nice and easy to use.
But it's all horses for courses and a matter of personal choice
