Sisters OGWT tracks: iPod/iPhone version

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Thankee, I thought my recording was the clearest too, not many peeps noticed that

has anyone got a really good audio rip from this broadcast? (blast?)

just listening to my 'demos and rarities 84-85' cd (jansenclone :notworthy:) and it looks like it's picked up a bit of a scratch during the 2 ogwt tracks :urff:

i could rip it form that video, but then it would be compressed from an already compressed file..

anyone got a decent low-gen 320kbps mp3?

they started life on a 25 year old Thorn VHS tape that was transferred to a DVD disc, I then took those files into Handbrake, from there into iMovie for trimming and saved as a 'project' after that I exported them to iPhone format. I also have the original unedited VIDEO TS folder

if you have the video_ts folder, mac3dec might work :?

http://sourceforge.net/projects/mac3dec/

Decodes AC-3 audio from DVDs, or QuickTime audio, and spits back AIFF, MP3, or AAC files. More fun than a barrel of monkeys. Well, almost.

although the comment suggest it doesn't like >10.4

Wow! Thanks for the vids, they're great!

I hadn't listened to the sisters for a few years, and then discovered the remixed 3CD boxset quite by accident and am having a bit of a Sisters revival.
Still good after all these years.
Cheers,
Nevla
