Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Heh. Some day I'm gonna browse HL from Bloated Goats just so it shows up in the stats.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Am I the only person in the whole of human history who switched from IE to Firefox, and the switched BACK again because she preferred IE?

I went for chrome and have given it a bit of time, and find its perfect for general browsing - quick and efficient.
It allowed me to move my 'favourites' aswell.

Thanks people. :D

I love Firefox, but the brother prefers Chrome and I'm getting curious.

I use Mozilla Firefox but i used to be a fan of internet explorer 8 but it used to crash all the time and i have heard that's its not safe. Firefox is the best with all the features of internet explorer and it is much faster and doesn't crash and safer to use.

This.

I don't fancy hunting for X amount of plugins to have the experience I want. I love the built in mouse gestures Opera has, I like to "support" the browser and the developer who brought us things like browser tabs and siding with the "underdog" has its own special appeal. 8)

Not necessarily

Inspired by this thread I have just installed Firefox, but despite importing my IE favourites twice, they are not showing up over there. Allegedly they would be accessible via the Bookmarks tab, but I'm buggered if I can spot them. Any suggestions?

bookmarks - organise bookmarks - 'library'

import and back up - import HTML - Microsoft internet explorer

close

back to bookmarks - new folder 'from internet explorer' ?

in return, tell me why?

Thanks, that did the trick :)

As for the YouTube link, it reminds me of one of the old James Ray websites.

I'm not sure I can tell you why though. Can anyone explain the unexplainable

As for a more general overview you could always try here. Though I rather suspect you may not learn anything http://www.thesistersofmercy.com/gen/regift.htm :innocent:
