World Cup

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

At least we're in it to win it. Unlike many of our European friends.
I'm sure we can beat the Germans, if we don't, so be it, at least we made it too the finals, and we can't play any worse than we did against Algeria! Can we?

Nice second half though against Cameroon. Tough opponents, these guys. But victory for Holland: 2-1

From where I was sitting it didn't look like the Dutch were playing the most inspired football, but they went through to the next round with full points, so they must be doing something right :)

Japan rocked last night. Second free-kick better than the first. And that took some doing

We'll come good against Germany - I'd bet my last Rolo on it. Almost.

as i told, it was predictable

this is italian foot-ball at the moment...but i don't agree with you about the goal-keeper, i saw him playing all last championship and i can assure you he was better than Buffon and in the same time i tell you: an intelligent coach doesn't choose a defensive line that was one of the worst last championship to play against the best forwards
thanks...my Lord...i'm unbeliver

Yeah nice second half, but Holland isn't showing what they are made of and for the money they get, come on! See why I hate sports?

They haven't since the WC and that's the thing. They are being too polite and are playing tickertje with the ball...stuff that, people are there to see action what's this with tickertje? It's the WC for heaven's sake...go for it don't just play around with the point system!

Oh and well done Ghana! :notworthy: Go Africa
