Nyuck nyuck nyuck

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

here's a video of the problem

IPhone 4 Loses Reception When Antenna Band Is Touched

this is interesting though:

The science behind the iPhone 4's antennas
http://www.tuaw.com/2010/06/25/the-scie ... -antennas/
Some boffin wrote:...most antenna placement these days is based on FCC rules about how much energy a device can send into a user's head; that's the reason most antennas are at the bottom of phones nowadays. Unfortunately, our hands are usually on the bottom of the phone, and the FCC doesn't test energy absorption through the hands, only through the head. What's the ideal way of holding your phone? You should hold it by the top, as if it were hanging in midair.

basic RF theory
people forget mobile phones are actually full duplex radio sytems.
problems seen are all due to the fact that its not really a good idea to touch an antenna of any kind. makes reception variable at best. especially in the frequency band of mobiles. small antenna/big hand.
i am more likely to release an album before the sisters
