World Cup

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Possibly Herr C of Derby and Scotland is Kris Commons, formerly of Nottingham Forest and, well,England,he lives a couple of miles from me in Nottinghamshire, not well regarded in these parts for his defection to the enemy ( Derby) To be honest it strikes me as unlikely, but bloody funny if true !

wah ... 4:0 ... they play very well ... :notworthy: ...

Leaving Argentina behind is definitely an achievement.
I start liking this German multi-culti-team ...

However, the Spanish team have a very good goalkeeper ...

My understanding was that people were more bothered about Terry messing around with the (ex)missus of a team-mate rather than the actual infidelity itself?
Gerrards affairs don't affect anyone else in the national team. As for the girls age, 16 is spinsterhood in the UK. Our women have the most open and welcoming legs in Europe, besides the Polish.:urff:

Anyways, why can't we do what the Germans are doing and drag in any half-decent foreigner who's lived in the country for a few years? Their must be a fair few of the EPL's foreign contingent who'd qualify for residency by now.

An aside: The rumours about Gerrard shagging his missus's sister can't be true. Alex Curran doesn't have a sister

True enough, but they all seem rather fond of the big pay cheque. We could be the place where talented footballing nations send their "not quite good enough" players to play international football. Just like we do with Scotland.

Dee-lighted to see the Germans doing so well. Celebrated their triumph over Engerland with a Singapore Sling and an Austrian barman (not like that), and then watched the first half of the game against Argentina in Munich airport. Outbreaks of cheering on the plane let me know it was going well

If Deutschland don't win, then I shall switch my allegiance to the Dutchies :D

Every team has their weakness.

Don't ask me the Germans ('keeper?), but they have. The thrashing of Argentina made our defeat a little more palletable.

Hear me defending our women's behaviour abroad?I once had to admit that "Ibiza Uncovered" was actually completely accurate to a group of 20-something Finns when I lived there who were absolutely horrified. Plenty of Polish flora in my garden these days. I imagine it's something to do with being in a more liberal country with no family members breathing over your shoulder, like our women in Ibiza. If it soothes you a little, both behave better than my fellow gays.
