I need help

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I have become obsessed by Gorillaz performance at Glastonbury last Friday.
I've Audio Hijacked it, Beeb Downloadered it and I can't stop playing it.
Dimian carnt sing for toffee and that Asian lady with the dreadful haircut needs to find something she's guid at as singing ain't her forte.
Seeing Mick and Paul looking healthy, enjoying themselves and still having their 'moves' did this auld man's heart guid.
Musically it was 50% absolute brilliance and 50% unlistenable shite, but by Gawd! the guid bits were worth the entry fee. It also looked ace, I now get all this 'cartoon band' bollix.
The stellar cast including twa Manc Bastard Legends can only be applauded like Lou Reed's mental metal guitaring.
The posh totty string section was very pleasing on the een too :D

It was a Blaast! young master Dimian Albran, I salute you and may even listen to other stuff you've done, not Blur of course who took average to a new level.

thank you

Gorillaz are everything you say James, got to know them through the missus, and they have some groovy s**t.

The Cartoon Band was very cool I guess, a bit KLF-ish in setup, like feck the image of the band coz there is no band...

Florence & the Machine should be called Florence IN the machine, make that a meat grinder svp and no mistake...

I have to say, after watching the 20 minutes or so that I saw of their Glastonbury performance, my main thought was 'What a waste of talent'.
To see Mick and Paul doing that cartoon character stuff seemed rather devoid of 'oomph' - I could hardly hear Mick.

I'd rather of seen Carbon/Silicon playing. :|

And James - The Blur album 13 is worth a listen. Experimental and dark in places.

Plastic Beach certainly has its moments, but is seriously wank at other times... I guess it will be the same with the older albums, but I was never interested enough to listen to one. PB just fell in my lap, so I gave that a few spins and I quite dig some of the funky basslines on there. No wonder they got master Simenon for the live gigs 8)
