Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I just got a new camera, so I am in the learning process. I cant help it, I am so in love with b/w pictures though, and clouds. Only had the cam a few days, and havent gotten out of the garden with it yet. And I have to find out what iso really is.. Played abit around with the iso on these :

Shame about the branches, placement is something I seriously have to get good at.

Nice shots of the clouds.

ISO is the sensor sensitivity. It comes from the old film days when you bought an ISO 100 or ISO 200 film. It meant that the film was more sensitive to light so you could shoot at higher shutter speed.

Unfortunately the higher the ISO the more "grain" or "noise" appears in your shots.

This works the same way for digital..

Slovenia was rather marvellous:

...especially if you enjoy old castles clinging onto rocky outcrops overlooking a lake nestled in the pine-covered foothills of the Julian Alps. Which I most decidedly do.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it an abandoned farmhouse in the west of Ireland?

Nope. It's Troy. Yup, that Troy, the one with the horse. :D
