World Cup

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Spain deserved to win, just about. The least cynical team won. Holland terrible, awful referee. Pine for the German performances!

yeah well overall I am not happy with this WC. I didn't get the satisfaction of really good matches and as usual the final was utter c..p. anyways it's football that one goal decided the issue.

I can finally get back to my life realy but I wil surely miss it. I was just soo excited and now back to normal..ugh. anyways the girls are coming up next year in Germany, then the Euro in 2012 in Poluan/Ukraine and then 2014 Brazil and then 2016 France has the Euro. so there is plenty to come and the qualifiers for the girls have been under way and the boys start in september. I really hope HUngary will show it's colors sometiomes soon. not expecting much just hoping we will make it to these finals soon

oh and one more thing. I am happy that everyone left the WC relatively healthy and nobody died on the pitch. too many players have dies already so I am just happy to see healthy players going off the field

What a boring match.

It was a bit. Holland were shocking in their brutal approach.

And bearing in mind England were/are supposed to be a load of violent thugs, I've noticed quite a few aggressive posts on here from other nations, and not a single one from us. Strange, eh?

Back to the important parochial stuff now. All the Chelsea players came through unscathed though hopefully Torres isn't too badly injured! ;D

I know.

But Spain won because it's a real team. 70% has been playing together for quite some time in Barcelona; Cataluna. That counts.

Congrats Spain.
